Continuing Education

Students seeking a bachelor of science degree with a major in legalkushonline must have a minimum of 120 semester credit hours, including 42 hours of upper-division courses , and a UT Tyler GPA of 2.0 or higher to be eligible to graduate. General Business Studies allows you to customize your degree to fit your unique interests, while maintaining a focus on the world of business. With a major in General Business Studies you will learn areas such as accounting, marketing, economics, and finance to help you gain a wide range of basic business skills. The skills and attributes you will develop through General Business Studies include communication, information literacy, critical thinking, teamwork, ethics and social responsibility.

The curriculum for the General Business Administration major is designed to provide a better flexibility that allows students to choose courses in the disciplines of Accounting, Finance, Management and Marketing based on their interest. Students studying general business will receive a BS in Business Administration with major in General Business. Businesses and other organizations are continually seeking broadly-educated graduates who are well versed in all aspects of business functions that they can train to their business culture. In this program, you will gain that foundation to take your business career in any direction you choose to go. You can enhance your studies with a minor from the College of Business or the College of Arts and Sciences in topics ranging from Entrepreneurship to Communication. No more than 90 hours of these hours may be earned at a community college. MUW does not award credit for technical or vocational courses except in the B.A.S. program.
